Personal Injury Attorney Discusses Bakken Area Construction Zone Crash

Unfortunately, construction zone accidents are all too common in the Bakken region and beyond. On Tuesday, August 23, a pickup truck struck the rear of an automobile in a construction zone three miles outside Crosby, North Dakota.

Construction Worker Struck by Debris

A Florida man driving the pickup truck sustained minor injuries. A female worker in the highway construction zone was hit by debris, although she was not seriously injured. According to the Bismarck Tribune, she was working as a flagger at the time of the accident.

Injuries and Loss of Life

There were four occupants in the car at the time of the rear-end collision. Two young girls died in the wreck. Their 31-year-old father, the driver of the vehicle, was transported to a local hospital, but he did not survive. Emergency personnel flew his young son to a Minot hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
