Vehicle Hits Tree

According to an Inforum report, a vehicle was proceeding southbound on Main Street when the driver lost control, causing the vehicle to strike a street sign on the driver side before hitting a tree on the passenger side.

DUI Arrest Follows

A 23-year-old male passenger from Minot required extrication by local firefighters. Emergency personnel took him from the scene in an ambulance, but he died en route to the hospital. A spokesperson for the state highway patrol said the 22-year-old male motorist was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
